Colle Lauson is the fifth and highest 'pass' on the Assietta ridge route from Sestriere side between Col Blegier and Testa dell’Assietta, both 3 kilometres distant on rideable gravel road.
Colle Lauson is on the often fairly flat and partly ascending way from Col Blegier to the Testa dell’Assietta. It is the cross section where one switches from Chisone valley side to the Susa valley side.
