Apart from the coast roads, this is the most southerly France/Italy border pass. Its marked as D93 on the maps, leading east from Sospel with the village of Olivetta near the summit.
These photos taken in early February.
One of the lowest passes listed in the Virtual Alps, but a pleasant road and full of interest on both sides. Well worth a visit, and preferable to the Col de Brouis further north, it also leads into one of the most attractive sections of the Roya valley.
