This is, or rather was, the northern gateway into the Vercors.
Now the road is closed - the tunnel is passable but to the north of it there is a massive landslide.
This picture shows the south end, you just have to scramble past the road block then everything is clear again.
The tunnel is actually a recent construction and quite long, but in good condition. Its worth going through, for the classic view at the other end.
The lower photo shows the neglected road near the landslip, but it actually gets completely impassable further down.
